Having decided to become a Driving Instructor I applied to the AA, a well known professional company for my training. Although expensive, I achieved my goal by passing Parts 1, 2 & 3 at the first attempt thus reaching my target of becoming an ‘Approved Driving Instructor’ (ADI) with the DVSA.
However, I decided rather than staying with a faceless nationwide company, I would look to join a local and well established business and was highly recommended to PASS Driving School.
Having qualified and franchised with the AA, work was very slow in regards to pupil introductions plus the franchise fees were very expensive, however on joining PASS (2013) I had a full diary of pupils within the first few weeks and franchise fees were very reasonable. I work as part of a team and know that if there are any problems with the car or students, help and assistance are only a phone call away.
