Chris has over 10yrs driving experience joining the team at Pass Driving School in July 2016,having undertaken his training with (PDIT) Pass driving instructor training with one of our own Instructor Trainers.

Chris is based in Herne Bay covering Herne Bay, Whitstable, Canterbury and surrounding areas, offering his pupils a comprehensive, effective learning / driving experience, carried out in a safe, calm and relaxed atmosphere.
With over 10 years driving experience Chris is qualified to teach across the board from complete novice, to the qualified driver who may require just a few refresher lessons and or tips on Eco-driving.
Lessons are tailored to the needs of each individual student. Chris provides support and guidance to the most nervous of pupils, encouraging confidence through teaching of safe competent driving techniques.
I trained and joined Pass Driving School because it became clear that this driving school delivers on what it says ; it’s not just about ensuring students pass the driving test but sets them up with a confident driving experience for life and being polite to other road users should be the norm.
The sessions I had with Mr Chris Smith was brilliant and was very good. He had helped in all sorts of driving areas to achieve my driving license .Pass driving school is well good driving school .I would recommend to take the driving sessions with this school.

I couldn’t thank Chris enough for all the work he put in to help me to not only pass FIRST time but pass with no faults at all! I’d highly recommend Chris Smith as a driving instructor, he’s relaxed and chilled out which makes learning easier as it’s a nice atmosphere plus he gives the best advice and little tips that make it easier to drive. One thing I’ll miss is the conversations we have each lesson about various things.

I’d been learning to drive on and off for over 2 years and I finally passed my test in Herne Bay after 4 months of lessons .The lessons were so much fun and I looked forward to to every one .Thank you so much Chris and Pass .
