Alex trained with (PDIT) Pass Driving Instructor training in 2013 and has become one of our own in house Instructor Trainers .
Joining the professional team of instructors in 2013, with over 20 years driving experience covering many aspects of driving and vehicle control. Alex has two young children and has a good, patient approach to teach students of all ages to enable them to learn to drive.
Alex is part of the Instructor Training (ORDIT)scheme of PDIT (Pass Driving Instructor Team ).
Alex is an ‘A’ Grade Instructor.
Alex is based in Herne Bay mainly covering Herne Bay, Chestfield, Tankerton, Whitstable and surrounding areas, with a flexible approach to lesson times.

Alex is a DVSA approved Instructor and a member of the Driving Instructor’s Association, offering his pupils comprehensive and effective learning driving experience, carried out in a safe calm and relaxed atmosphere. With over 20 years professional driving experience Alex is able to teach across the board from complete novice to the qualified driver, who may require just a few refresher lessons and or tips on Eco-driving.
I like to plan my lessons around my students needs as this is not a one size fits all training, my lessons are tailored to the needs of each individual student, providing support and guidance to the most nervous of pupils, encouraging confidence through teaching of safe competent driving techniques. As someone with SEND (Autism) I cannot recommend Pass driving school enough. Alex adapted the lessons to the way I learn best, and showed no end of patience. Took the intensive course as I hadn’t driven in 20 years - excellent way to get back in the swing of things with confidence .Alex Holder was a very calm and knowledgeable instructor- reassuring but was also great for getting rid of bad habits. I passed FIRST time after the course .
