Alan has 19 years driving experience including 10 years previously as a postie.
He is family oriented and lives with his wife, sons Maxwell and Leodore and cat Miss Miggles.
Alan trained with the in-house Pass PDIT and joined Pass in 2022.

I am very patient and calm and have a great sense of humour. I like to teach in a positive manner instilling self confidence in my student’s ability to drive safely and with competence .
Alan helped me out so much with my confidence in driving especially with parking manoeuvres. He’s so patient and explained everything to me in a way I could understand. He was also great on the day of my test as I was struggling with nerves and I felt reassured. I passed FIRST time thanks to him, the best driving instructor ever, thank you!
Couldn’t recommend Alan Hayward highly enough. I would 100% recommend Alan Hayward to anyone looking to start driving, With his guidance and patience he taught me the skills to become a safe driver. Thank you for giving me the extra confidence to drive and for helping me to overcome my lack of confidence in certain situations. During my 17 hour intensive course Alan was able to quickly identify my weaker points and help me strengthen them. With Alan’s help I had passed with only 1 minor. Again, praise to Alan he’s great.
