Having graduated with an Applied Science and Coaching Honours Degree, James spent 6 years working for ‘elite player and coaching’ for Kent County Cricket Club. He then went into teaching in 4 secondary schools and was recently an Assistant Headteacher focusing on student behaviour, safety and welfare .
James has been driving for 22 years.
James lives with his wife and son and enjoys sports, particularly playing cricket and golf.
James will be offering manual lessons in Faversham and Canterbury and surrounding areas

I would highly recommend PASS driving school. I was lucky enough to have instructor James for a 20 hour intensive driving course. Passing 1st time with 0 minors. As a nervous driver I was so appreciative for his patience and I felt very prepared for my test!
So I've been struggling with Anxiety around doing a practical driving test for the past six years, and has caused me alot of stress over the years, When I started driving again with James (Medhurst) I genuinely believed I couldn't pass due to my anxiety and past experiences with practical driving tests. James somehow managed to get to through it last Monday and to be honest I'm still in shock over it. James was always very supportive and calm which helped alot during my lessons and explained things in a simple logical manner. And above all had trust in my ability and was able to cut though the anxiety for me which I don't thing I'd of been able to pass otherwise. In short I wanna say a huge thank you to James and that he has changed my life in a positive way as now I can progress in my life and do what I wanna do. Without his help I wouldn't be able to do that.
