Dawn has a background of working in a Primary school for the past 6 years and has a wide range of teaching and supporting children. She also has had a wide experience of teaching students with particular needs.
Dawn loves spending time with her family and walking with her partner as well as exercising.

I am a patient and calm person. I use the skills and experience I have gained in my previous occupation to help students to drive. It makes me happy to be helping people and seeing them succeed.
I had the pleasure to work with Tom and Dawn. Tom was great with manual driving, very patient, but I soon realised that manual lessons weren’t for me, so I asked to switch to an instructor who taught automatic, and that’s when I met Dawn. Dawn is incredible! Very easy to get along with, explains everything very well, is very patient, and bonus had a great sense of humour! I have thoroughly enjoyed every single lesson I have had with her, and I couldn’t recommend her enough (I already have recommended her to a couple of people, sorry Dawn). I passed on my FIRST try and overall, I felt supported and motivated throughout the whole process! I am really glad I took my lessons with Pass!
I restarted lessons with Dawn Blackford back in April and passed my test FIRST time the other day! I couldn’t recommend Pass Driving School enough who helped me through my initial enquiries and got me booked in within a week and also a massive thank you to Dawn, our lessons will be something I will truly miss, if anyone is looking at starting up lessons in an Automatic then please ask for her, she is caring, calm with her approach, always puts you at ease and always cheers you on even when you do not feel like you’ve done a good job!
My instructor Dawn was absolutely fantastic, especially for a nervous learner like me. She was patient and informative and made sure I was always comfortable and consequently turned driving into an enjoyable experience for me! Thank you both to Dawn and Pass for helping me to pass!
