Andy has been driving for 40 years, is married to Ruth and has two sons. His eldest son Mark is also a Pass instructor. Andy is very family orientated and is a lover of dogs having four! He has a wealth of experience working with people both abroad and in the uk.
Andy’s other passion is sailing and in his spare time he can often be found racing his ‘cat ‘ at the seaside .
Andy trained with the in-house Pass PDIT, joined Pass in 2023 and will be offering manual lessons in Canterbury, and surrounding areas nearby such as Preston and Littlebourne.

I consider myself to be patient, fair and friendly. I learnt quickly that you need to be flexible and my experience with Autism and ADHD over the years has allowed me the opportunity to adapt my lessons to the varying needs of my students.
Above all I have a great sense of humour and like to make my lessons fun and enjoyable.

Andy Stitson is everything a first time driver needs in an instructor, he was incredibly patient and worked at my pace giving me every chance and to learn grow the skills necessary to learn. I recently passed my practical driving test on FIRST attempt at the Canterbury test centre with zero faults, and this was undoubtedly due to Andy's expertise as an Approved Driving Instructor. His training enabled me to progress from a complete beginner to a confident, independent driver. Lessons were well-structured tailored to my individual needs, with a clesr focus on building confidence and improving skills at a steady pace. Andy ensured each session had a clear goal, the use of mock tests in the lead-up to my exam helped me feel fully prepared for the real thing. He pushed me just the right amount to become a better and safer driver, always knowing when to coach me and when to let me figure things out for myself.
